Why Slack requests access to channels, and files

Why Slack requests access to channels and files

Our bot Slack needs authorizations in reading / writing of public channels, in order to create the channel “drop-invoice-here”, that allows you to send documents directly from IPaidThat

The authorization to read files is necessary in order to import the invoices you put in the channel “drop-invoice-here”.

The bot Slack doesn’t have access to the private conversations and to the private channels

Once the Bot Slack is connected, we don’t have access to any other channel than “drop-invoice-here”, and the conversation with the bot “ipaidthat”
